Skye Alexander loves the familiar and forgotten traditional songs of the British Isles and North America. Born in British Columbia and raised in the folk music scene in the Pacific Northwest, she performed at folk festivals as a kid before studying classical singing. Now back to her traditional music roots, she has sung with various ensembles at the Phoenix St. Patrick’s Day Faire, the El Cerrito Free Folk Festival, and the Bay Celtic Festival, and performs at local cafes and small venues on her own or together with other Bay Area musicians.

She also writes fiction using the pen name Skye Allen. Visit her author site, allenskye.com, for more.
